Natura Prints is a series of drawings that investigates synthetic textiles and their transformation into microplastics within the natural environment.

The work begins with fabrics printed with botanical motifs, establishing a tension between the representation of nature and its material behaviour as waste.

From fragments collected in different contexts, new weaves are constructed that articulate relationships between image, matter and waste. The pieces thus reveal a distortion in our ways of perceiving and representing the natural.
